Tango was born in Buenos Aires and Montevideo. Its origins go back to African and Spanish tunes that met in the Rio de la Plata region, in South America, a t the end of the ninteenth century. It cradled amongst prostitute, as happened to the jazz in new Orleans. That interesting story is told in this book as well as its great characters are shown: musicians, poets, singers and tango dancers of all times.
